Semester 1 Final
Plan: I start with shaping the head and shoulders, making sure they are both proportional. I hollow the head out through the back of the head, connecting it through the neck and body. I then add the details of the face, and score and slip the bun over the hole in the head.
Reflection: I'm kinda happy with how this turned out since it was my first attempt at a bust, if I did it again, I would make the neck more stable and make the whole sculpture bigger

showcases Neoclassical elegance, portraying Marie-Élisabeth Blavot with serene beauty. reflecting 19th-century ideals of femininity
I chose this piece because I thought it would be a challenge since I haven't sculpted a bust before. I wanted to practice underglazing a person and sculpting a side profile.
